From our customers to our employees to our communities, Malibu Boats, Inc. believes in putting people first. This includes valuing all voices, operating with integrity and respect, and making safety our number one priority.

Our Customers

At MBI, we are committed to exceeding our customers’ needs and expectations. While innovation is obviously critical, continuous product quality and safety are equally important. Our customer-focused, performance-minded and improvement-driven mindset has resulted in industry recognition we are very proud of - one example is our Monsoon engines consistently achieving the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) global quality certifications (9001:2015). Additionally, we are certified by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), a program designed to help boat manufacturers comply with industry safety and construction standards and federal regulations. To be NMMA-certified, boat manufacturers must certify each model they produce and all eight of our brands plus our Malibu and Axis trailers have obtained certification for the current Model Year.

MBI is also a member of Independent Boat Builders, Inc. (IBBI), a collaborative effort to negotiate the best sources and arrangements for raw materials. And we participate in the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), a non-profit, member organization that develops voluntary global safety standards for the design, construction, maintenance and repair of recreational boats by which we abide.

In a relentless quest for customer-delighting quality, we look both externally and internally for continuous improvement opportunities. Ultimately, we believe in doing things right and our customers deserve nothing less.

As an equal opportunity employer, we prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind, and have policies in place in our Code of Conduct with respect to anti-discrimination. We also provide our employees with access to an anonymous whistleblower hotline for any reporting concerns.

Accordingly, MBI is committed to protecting all Company personnel from occupational hazards whether they are laborers or working in the office environment. The safety and health program is made up of Company policies and requirements in order to assist in the protection of Company personnel. All new employees at our operations are required to complete an orientation training covering safety, electrical wiring, ISO training, quality training and basic hand tool instructions and other items. Further, we require all of our employees to complete annual environmental and safety trainings, and our operational employees to receive ISO trainings minimally on an annual basis. All employees are required to follow the training content as well as all applicable federal and state occupational safety and health (OSHA) regulations.

At MBI, we remain focused on building a safer workplace for our employees and will continue to work towards injury-free days through the implementation of training and other industry-leading safety initiatives.

Our Communities

Malibu Boats, Inc. continually strives to make a positive impact on our local communities and serve them with gratitude.

Each year, Malibu, Cobalt, and Pursuit partner with Toys for Tots and Angel Tree where our employees directly serve the children in our communities. This holiday tradition has evolved to include fundraisers, auctions and raffles, and our partnership impact has grown from 10 kids in 2012 to over 100 kids in 2020. We are proud of our collaboration with these outstanding organizations, and of the funds raised by our employees for children and families in the communities within which we operate.

Since 2014, Malibu has been a proud partner of the Tellico Village Kiwanis Club which provides special-needs children with increased mobility through Amtryke therapeutic tricycles. Malibu also supports Family Resource Centers in Loudon and Lenoir City schools each year with cold-weather clothing funds, and participates in additional local school initiatives to promote manufacturing trade jobs.

Beyond the local community, Malibu’s Brave-the-Wave Adaptive Surf Tour brings together our professional athletes with adaptive athletes of all levels - providing prosthetics and coaching so participants can experience the thrill of wakesurfing.

At Cobalt, we support our community though recreational leagues, donations to local libraries, events and school fundraisers and other initiatives.

At Pursuit, we give back to our local communities through the Treasure Coast Food Bank, Pet Food Drive for the Humane Society and Ready to Work Boot Camp. Additionally, we are proud participants in and sponsors of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk every year.

Our addition of the Maverick Boat Group in 2021 allowed us to further our commitment to our communities by being part of other amazing organizations and initiatives such as the Everglades Foundation, Recreational Fishing Alliance and Coastal Conservation Association.
